For decades, feminists have worked to undo the systems that harm us all and build something new – a vision for the future that centres the safety and wellbeing of people and the planet. 

his isn’t just a vision for some far away future – Around the world, people are already making this future a reality. And it is entirely within reach, but only if we choose to rewrite the rules and create solutions that serve us all.  

Because the current system is not working. It’s harming the planet, and it’s harming us.  

 We are living through a climate catastrophe that is claiming lives, homes and food systems – and its impacts are only set to worsen.   

 In recent years, Australia has experienced unprecedented floods, severe droughts, and the most intense bushfires in our nation’s history. Communities in the Torres Strait and across the Pacific are developing safety plans for when they can no longer live in their homelands, displaced by climate change. 

 Global inequality is widening, the cost of living crisis is intensifying, and the same systems that fuel the climate crisis drive gender inequality.
